Elizabeth founded Partners for World Health in 2009 while working full time as a Nurse Administrator. She currently, serves on numerous boards in Portland and is strongly affiliated with The Portland Museum.
Elizabeth speaks at many conferences and facilitates a community global health education series. Additionally, she runs five medical missions each year. She recruits medical professionals, physicians and nurses to provide high-quality education, primary care and surgical services, while also training local medical professionals in those countries.
She has continued to devote and volunteer her time to PWH, and as her organization has grown, she has attracted a superbly talented staff to further develop and promote the mission of PWH.
Judy joins PWH with a background in management consultant, specializing in organizational management, training and corporate strategy. For the last 15 years of her career she worked for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care as the Vice President of Sales and Member Services.
After retiring she taught a course on strategy at her Alma mater, Babson College. Judy has held positions on multiple boards throughout New England: Unior League of Boston, Gilday Center, Holderness School, Embrace A Vet, Wolfe’s Neck Farm, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, and 185 Fore Street Home Owners’ Association.
Judy resides in Portland with her husband, Sam. Together they have three children and seven grandchildren. In her free time, Judy volunteers as a docent for Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. She is a lifelong gardener, skier, and sailor. She enjoys travel, theater, the symphony, opera and, of course, volunteering.

Douglas is currently a Vice President in the Finance Team at TD Bank where he has spent the last 15 years of his career. Doug is a former Scout Leader and Scoutmaster. He is also the former Treasurer of the Scarborough Band Boosters and the World Affairs Council of Maine.
Doug has visited over 60 countries on 6 continents including substantial time in the developing world. He lived in London, England for 11 years.
Between his wife Karen and himself, he has 3 adult children – Dan, Eric & Sarah.
Elizabeth klebe, m.ed

Elizabeth is a former elementary and middle school teacher. She most recently taught in Portland, and previously worked in schools in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and the former Czechoslovakia.
During her 25 years in Falmouth, Elizabeth has been involved with a number of non-profit organizations focused on education, land conservation, historic preservation, and the local library.
Elizabeth and her husband Kurt have two adult sons.
michael curci, MD
Maine Medical Center
Michael worked at Maine Medical Center up until his retirement in 2008. He was the General Surgery Residency Program Director from 2000-2008 and Director of the Pediatric Surgery Service.
He remains active in the surgery department, bringing surgical residents and attendings to East Africa for educational projects each year. His association with PWH began many years ago while obtaining medical supplies for these overseas surgical projects in East Africa.
Michael has been awarded many inspiring awards including: the American College of Surgeons' 2018 Surgical Volunteerism International Award and the Maine Medical Association's 2019 Humanitarian Award for Medical Volunteerism!
When he is not traveling, Michael resides in Cumberland with his wife Christine; together they have four daughters and four great grandchildren. In his free time, Michael enjoys fly fishing, bicycling and squash.

Kristen has more than 20 years of public relations and marketing experience, with a focus on strategic communications for the arts and tourism industries.
She is a publicist for the Peabody Essex Museum and has previously held positions at the Portland Museum of Art, Shelburne Museum, and the Currier Museum of Art.

Nancy serves on the board of the Portland Museum of Art and the Mountain Club on Loon. She is on the Advisory Comm for CMCA in Rockland.
Her professional background was primarily in sales management and sales training. She also formed my own training company, consulting with both individual and corporate clients.
Nancy and her husband were travelers, visiting 84 mostly developing countries. She says it was a helluva ride while it lasted! She is an avid skier and a hard worker for causes in which she believes - PWH being one of them.

Arul's foundation, Beam On is a non profit for bringing cheer to people and families locally and across the globe.
Arul is the State Grassroots Captain for New Hampshire/Massachusetts for the Grassroots Government Relations Subcommittee of the Government Relations Council of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
He also serves as the Vice Chair to the Global Health Committee of the Massachsetts Medical Society.

Michael joins PWH with a background in business and accounting. He acquired his BS in Business from University of New Hampshire and his Masters degree in Accounting from Northeastern University.
He formally served as the Treasurer for Art Guild of the Kennebunks.
Michael resides in South Portland with his wife Patty Collins. In his free time, he stays active on the golf course and running.
