VOLUNTEER FUNDRAISING
GLOBAL HEALTH
PWH operates global health volunteer opportunities in communities in the Global South to improve access to quality healthcare. Programs aim to equally: STRENGTHEN local healthcare systems by educating healthcare workers on gaps in their own training; and, PROVIDE direct patient care to those who otherwise lack access.

Programs range from public health education and awareness to highly specialized medical conferences.
​
Participants make a tax-deductible donation to PWH to join the program. This amount includes all roundtrip flights (with Portland, Maine (PWM) or Boston, Massachusetts (BOS) as departing/return airport) and in-country travel, accommodations and meals, interpreters, tips & sundries.

PWH Partner grants & AWARDS

Licensed medical professionals may apply for additional funding ranging from $500-$2,000 through PWH's partner network - inquire below!

PWH will always apply for additional airfare grants on behalf of the group; awards are not guaranteed and would be distributed equally among all participants
