Partners for World Health and NuDay Syria complete another successful shipment of medical supplies and equipment unloaded off the port of Mersin and Bab Al-Hawa border crossing.
The container, which was sent out in March, arrived to the Port of Mersin on May 16th, 2019 during the month of Ramadan "where things naturally are a bit slower."
Medical items have been distributed from this container to the following hospitals inside Syria:
Al Hedayia Hospital - Idlib countryside:
specialized in kidney patients and has a department for Dialysis
serving about 10 villages, 225 surrounding camps and 14,178 patients
Al-Rahma Hospital - Jisser Al Shugour northern countryside:
second largest hospital in the countryside of Idlib
serves about 62 villages and has a population of about 33,800 patients
Qalb Lozeh Hospital – Harem- Idlib countryside:
provides services to about 20 villages and 2,515 patients
provides emergency surgeries, in addition to a special section for obstetrics
Kafr Takharim Hospital - Harem - north of Idlib countryside:
gynecology and obstetrics hospital
provides services to about 20 villages and 3,163 patients
provides obstetrics and has a gynecology department, incubators department, general surgery, pediatrician clinic, laboratory, radiology department, and pharmacy
