Partners for World Health took advantage of an opportunity to be on the Derek Volk Show on Saturday, February 11, 2017. Derek interviewed Elizabeth McLellan and LInda Isaacson about the organization and it's work collecting unused medical supplies. Derek spoke about his own experience in the hospital and the waste he saw.
Elizabeth spoke about the new warehouse location at 40 Walch Drive and the amount of medical waste saved from landfills. The medical supplies and equipment is shipped to third-world countries. She also spoke about the medical missions and education that Partners for World Health coordinates to these countries as well.
Linda Isaacson spoke about the upcoming Breaker to Breaker fundraiser race taking place on August 13, 2017 in Old Orchard Beach. It starts at Pine Point in Scarborough and continues through Old Orchard and ending at Camp Ellis in Saco.
