Blue Wrap to the Rescue

We want to thank two very special partners, Cardinal Health, a medical supply company and CM Almay, a family owned company that manufactures vestments, apparel and decorative accessories for the Church and clergy in Pittsfield, Maine. Cardinal Health donated brand new blue wrap and CM Almy generously offered make surgical gown cuts for us.

Volunteer seamstresses are sewing them into single use gowns for our local healthcare workers.

While this PPE project came about as a direct response to the COVID pandemic, PWH plans to continue production for future container shipments to our partners in the developing world.

To date PWH has made 5,300 sewn masks made from Blue Wrap sterilization material donated to frontline medical, home health and social agency workers at over 60 facilities
