Founder and President of the Board

Elizabeth McLellan, RN, MSN, MPH

Elizabeth McLellan received her degrees from American University, Northeastern University, the University of Southern Maine, and Boston University School of Medicine and Public Health. McLellan has spent her career working as a leader in nursing and healthcare administration. In recognition of her leadership, compassion, and service, McLellan has received numerous awards including the Hanley Center Leadership and Humanitarian Relief Award in 2010, the Red Cross Real Hero Award in 2011, the Outstanding Non-Profit Award in 2012, and the Northeastern University Social Impact Award in 2014.

Julie Forsyth, 
MBA

A Portland native, Julie lived “away” for 30 years, returning two years ago.  She received her MBA from Boston University and her BA from Harvard College.  She lives in Portland with her husband, Matthew, and their two children. Julie comes to Partners for World Health with more than twenty-five years of experience developing, marketing, running and optimizing brands for a wide variety of companies, and contributing to the communities in which she has lived.

Kelsey McSweeney

Kelsey made the move to Portland in the Fall of 2017.  After earning her BA from Providence College, she spent several years living and working in Boston.  Kelsey comes to PWH with a background in merchandising and sales, as well as a passion for working with people.

Chris Gorman

Chris is a southern Maine native, who comes to PWH after a decade spent working for a marine chandlery in Portland. After earning his BA from the University of Maine, Chris eventually moved to Seattle, Washington to work in the coffee industry. It wasn't long however, before he returned to his Maine roots. You can find Chris doing any number of tasks, from prepping container shipments, to driving the PWH truck all over New England and beyond!

Medical Supply Program Coordinator

Marie Keller, RN

Marie has been a nurse for 49 years. She graduated from the University of New England located in southern Maine when it was Westbrook college. She spent most of her nursing career in PACU and home-health. Today she can be found helping others who are going on medical missions and supplying SIM labs with medical equipment.

Medical Supply Program Assistant

Melanie Mansir

Melanie is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Medical Biology at the University of New England. Before transitioning to this position, Melanie interned for two semesters and went with PWH on the Uganda medical mission. Melanie is an EMT and CNA, and BLS Instructor! She currently works part time on the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at Maine Medical Center, and dreams to be a cardiothoracic surgeon herself (for now.) Her biggest goal is to get her MD/MPH so she can continue working with organizations like PWH to provide primary care and infection control education to developing countries.

Michaela Veillette

Michaela started interning with PWH through an AmeriCorps program in January 2019. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with her BS in Public Health in 2017. Michaela joins the PWH team with a lifelong passion for global health and community engagement.

Tina Brown

Tina has been a long time volunteer, beginning at Marginal Way in 2009, at the start of it all! At the time Tina was working for Health Dialog as a Clinical Development and Research Coordinator. She then joined Mercy Hospital working as a Health Information Analyst. Most recently she was the Executive Office Manager for Willis Re. Tina has a BS in Biology and will be receiving her MPH from UNE in 2019.

Bio Med Engineer

James Siulinski

Jim is a Maine native who has retired from a career in semiconductor product development.  His lifelong interest in technology has led him through many areas of engineering including software and hardware development and worldwide product support.  He is currently reinventing himself as a biomedical engineer at PWH.  Jim is also an avid hiker, woodworker and photographer.
