Join a PWH International Medical Trip
PWH will offer opportunities for international travel to a variety of countries for the purpose of delivering needed medical supplies and providing primary care services for free to the local people. Medical and non medical people are invited to participate in this life changing opportunity.
The first trip is planned for November 2010 to Cambodia where supplies will be provided to a small hospital outside of Phnom Penh and primary care services to over 400 people a day over a 5 day period. In addition you will have the opportunity to visit schools, orphanages, hospitals, an early morning market, the great temples of Siem Reap and other sites and sounds of the country. In March 2011 Partners for World Health plans to head to Viet Nam Hanoi down to Saigon.

Volunteer
Individual volunteers and groups are always needed to provide transport, and to sort and package the medical supplies in our Portland, Maine, warehouses. In addition we need volunteers to help with pick up all over the state of Maine and southern NH. Lot's to do and we thank you for your service! Click here to see schedule and current needs
Volunteers are also needed to serve on committees including development and fundraising, IT, website and communications, recycling and reuse alternatives, distribution (international and domestic), and operations.

Donate Medical Supplies
PWH welcomes donations of unused medical supplies. In particular, we are in great need of many items. Hospitals and nursing homes and community centers can participate and even private individuals. If you have extra medical supplies at home and do not know what to do with them just call Partners for World Health and we will take them for you and make sure they are put to good use for people in need oveseas.
