Global Educational Series:
As of June 2010 Partners for World Health initiated the
Global Health Education Series
which offers educational opportunities about medical supply delivery and care provided by local individuals who have traveled throughout the world.
The Global Health Education Series 2011 has taken off with nearly 60 people in January at the new warehouse in Scarborough to hear about the first adventure trip to Cambodia sponsored by Partners for World Health.

March 2011 Ian Englend presented on his week trip to Haiti working with amputees.
April 2011 Peter Shaw, MD presented his medical experience in cardiology while working in Botswanna.
May, June, July and August are already booked with individuals coming to speak about Hondurus, Peru, Tibet and Tanzania.
All events are on the first Tuesday of the month at 6p

Partners for World Health finished 2010 with a lecture on Cambodia in early November by Elizabeth McLellan and in December information was presented on Recylcing efforts in general.
Our October 2010 speaker will be Marietta Altieza, RN who will share her experience traveling and working in Haiti in February just after the earthquake and again in September 2010 on a follow up visit.
In June, Joyce Perron, RN presented her life changing experience living and working in a hospital in Ethiopia.
In July, Tina Holt, MD, Courtney Nall, MD, Jeff Grassmann, MD and Cindy Avery, MD gave a great presentation on there experience in Haiti.
In August Sara Nelson, MD and Justin Bennett, MD presented on Emergency medicine in Uganda.
